Temp on my thermo has been reading between 200-210 steadly rises.... 18 inch flex fans/shroud alumitech rad/ stewart stage 1 waterpump. Bought a craftsman infared thermometer and put it on the top radiator hose red between 170-180 is my guage that wrong? Or am I testing it in the wrong spot?

Is this on a stock gauge or aftermarket?

That's the issue...always a higher reading when taken from the head. Probably the hottest part of a motor.
Move the sender to the intake near the thermostat, if possible.

Old old intake and the sending units broke off in the intake to where I can't get it out. Just want peace of mind I'm not going to destroy my engine lol till I replace the intake.
