Any one know where I can get a insulation kit today or tomorrow, without waiting a week. I want to put my tank in this weekend.
Maybe someone has some home ideas for making the rubber strips to put between the tank.
Does any of the part store carry them.........Thanks

Someone had said to use heavy gauge roofing felt.

Thats what was on my tank originaly ,felt paper from the factory. How do I know this. Yes, I bought it new in 71.

I used roofing felt between the tank and body.
You can use a bicycle tube, cut to fit, between the straps and the tank.

Yeah, a couple strips of roofing felt paper will work just fine. And the hanger bolts can be found at any well supplied hardware store.
