Ok putting my car back together after paint and need to know a few things about the weather stripping. on the trunk where should the seam be? on the bottom or the top of the trunk?
do the two ribed araes go into the chanel on the trunk?
on the roof strippping there is a section that has what looks like a oblong shape. not sure where that is to go? in the front or back part?

The trunk gap should be at the lower latch centerline (keeps rain out of trunk). The "square" end fits into the channel, the "flap" should be positioned so that when the trunk is closed the it pushes the flap toward the trunk. this creates the seal. I don't understand what your asking about the roof stripping. The curved section should be out towards glass.
