I have a pair of red 1966 metal seat backs(without the side release) that I want to trade for a set of 1967 metal seat backs(with the side release) . . any one need/want to swap?

Did 67 have the metal seat backs too? I have 2 sets of 67 and both have the plastic backs. Not that it means anything.

From what I understand:
66: Metal no holes for seat release
67: Metal; Side seat release
68: Plastic, Side seat release
69-72: Plastic, Seat release on back of seat

I have 2 68's. one set in ok shape, on old chalky set... I need the metal 67's . . .

I'm still looking to swap backs with some one . . . .
