im redoing a 66 chevelle painting it dark red. what i was thinking about doing is painting the bumpers dark sliver met. what do you think

I think the color combo sounds pretty cool. Personally, I like the look of chrome against a dark paint color (blue, red, black, whatever) It seems like the in late 80's early 90's monochrome body colored bumpers were "in" then people backed away from that and now two-tone seems to be coming back in. Have you considered painting the top one color (red) and bottom another (gray)? Maybe follow the crease down the body? It's a chevelle, so it will be pretty sharp what ever you do.
