I'm wanting a blue color. I really love the Viper blue. How much more expensive would it be than any other factory color, if any. If I remember right, the Viper has flake. Is there anything similar that would be close?

68SS, most all paint companies use a "tiered" pricing system. It really doesn't matter at all if the color is "custom" or stock on any vehicle on earth. All that matters is what toners are used to make the color. Pearls and Reds/yellows are the most expensive. So the more "red" or "yellow" the color is, the more expensive. Now, pearls do cost more and that is what makes up the "flake" now a days.

I don't have the price code for Viper Blue in front of me but I believe it is right in the middle of the scale on price somewhere around $225.00 a gallon from just about any company. Now, I may be off a bunch so find out to be sure at the paint store before you make up your mind.

What brand are you buying 300hp? I have a Sherwin Williams price sheet in front of me and the most expensive pt is of base coat is only $65.00. Even Glasurit is only about 25% more which would be about $85.00 and that is retail.
