with blue454 help i got the front bumper on by myself and in place, the problem is the bumper is 1/4 of and inchaway from the drivers fender and there is a 3/4 gap in the passengers side by fender, how is this adjusted from side to side??? I had the brackets off and had them powder coated, are the or is there any slop in the holes where the brackets are in the bumpers which would alow for side to side motion? thanks again steel

Steel, Car does look great. I assume you're just putting it all back together. Is the rad support centered? You can easily push that side to side. Just a thought, my be the fenders(rad support) is off. Also measure your hood and distance between fenders at firewall and at rad support. There is a small amount of slop in the brackets that hold the fenders to the rad support. Good luck, keep up the good work!

damn finally, you were right , went out and measured my core support and its off, now my question is everything was lined up, with loosening the core support and pulling it over to the passenger side i'll proably throw every other thing off, right? thanks again steel

If you move the core support .5 inch the fenders at the firewall are going to move like, well I don't know, not very much. You know what I mean?

I assume you're back on that since you said side to side was ok now. Anyway if you use a BFH make sure it's US not metric. You only want to use a metric BFH on newer cars. :D

There are professionals there, guys that do this for a living, that I'm sure can help. This is not a restoration issue right? From what you describe it does sound like the bumper is bent or twisted. Good luck and keep us updated with pics.

Tighten passenger side, put strap from bumper end around jack and jack up car. Should pull it down.

thanks chevelless1. yes there from inline tube, I wasnt very happy with inline though, when I originally called for the labels the person told me they needed a copy of my buildsheet for the owner to make my labels to my buildsheet, so reluctantly I sent a copy and about 2 weeks later I received the labels and started matching up to my buildsheet and there were several labels that didnt match, so I called inline and the guy said oh we only have one kit!!! So I asked why did you want my buildsheet??? His answer was he made a mistake and the owner doesent need my buildsheet, well this @$#%&*^ @!#$$% me right off, now I have someone who has a copy of my buildsheet and where my car is, not that my car is special for it is not but I dont like the idea of people knowing where my stuff is, steel
