This is not a vendor bash, this is a warning for fitment.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but my spacers have rubbed a hole in the driver side shock due to the threaded end sticking down so far for the ride height I wanted.

If you have these, it is worth checking them for clearance.

If you plan to install these and lower the car more than an inch it would be a good idea to have the threaded end cut off a little.

Pass this along

Yeah, common problem for the spacers to rub on the shocks. Very important to make sure the spacers are properly centered in the pocket to avoid this.

mine are centered, but i guess since i cut off some on the top and still ended up skrewing the plate down nearly all the way there are just too many threads coming through the center, looks like it was only happening on bumps

What we end up doing on these (we use them in circle track) is cut the top off. We use the adjustable ones. They are usually 3" tall on the non threaded part and 3" of thread. I cut the first 1 1/2-2" off, this will allow you to use all the threads and lower the ride height. We lose many shocks to this for improper install. When installing these adjusters we us a dummy shock (we took a shock with no fluid to it would move easy) and with the unit tacked in we move the suspension all the way through its motion. Once it is set, we apply a few small tack welds to hold them in place. The adjuster will need to be tilted outwards at the bottom just a few degrees and will rock around on the frame seem at the top of the spring mount if not welded.

Dave, I cut a helix in mine to keep them from rocking. They sit nice and flat (stable too) when placed into position.
