Does it include the top and bottom channels?

I only needed the bottom. I am sure if you look them up they can get you what you need. It is WELL worth it. Like new.

Iam currently working on a '72 in our shop. The lower channel was very pitted and would have taken too long to repair, so we ordered a new trunk to rear window replacement panel from Goodmark. I believe it was about $70 for the panel and took about three hours labor to R&R.

This car also had rust issues in the upper window channel as well. I had to fabricate these areas from scratch and weld them in place. It's takes some pretty good fabricating skill to do these as the window channel has to precisely match the rear window trim for a clean look when done. If you are sloppy with the fabrication/welding then the area will require bondo to ge the area to fit the trim correctly. I was able to repair this car without any need for bondo on the window channel.

If your unsure of your fab/welding skills, then find a good body man/fabricator to do this for you as it's very easy to warp and ruin the roof panel if you put too much heat into it or change the shape/contour by accident.

I am doing this same repair to my monte carlo. If anyone has any pictures of the new panel, can you please post them if possible. Thanks. Bill.

I fabbed some up for both corners of my '69 and it wasn't that bad. Because of the curves, I had to make them in 2 pieces. If you like to weld, it's actually fun. (in a dimented sort of way) http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif A dremel tool is very helpful to grind welds in the channel.

Have fun,
