Is it possible to paint the top frame with the top still install. The top is only a year old and I have my convertible to the bodyshop being restored. The paint on the frame is badly faded and would like it painted but cannot afford the additional expense of havinh the top taken off and reinstalled. Has anyone tried painting the top frame with the top on.

I suppose if someone was very careful and masked and papered the top where it touches the frame, it could be done.

progress has little to do with speed, but lots to do with direction.
