I been having some problems with the car lately.
When I turn the key the starter kicks in but is very loud alot louder than it was... and the car takes alot of tries till it finally kicks in and turns over. Then once I get to where I am going I turn the key to the off position and the car keeps running even when the key is removed. It takes about a min or longer before it shuts down then when it gets close to dieing and kicks and thumps in the motor pretty badly. Not for sure what to shoot for. Its a 1968 Chevy chevelle...
Recent Fixes That Happened Before This Started Happening.
Ignition Switch Went Out - Fixed
Neutral Safety Switch Went Out - Bypassed it with running the wire
Started Was Dropped. Maybe not positioned right?
New Motor - Something Wrong With It?
Anyone have any ideas where to start looking at?
