My buddy gave me a 7 blade 18" clutch fan assembly. No numbers on fan and the clutch assy only says Eaton. I'm trying to determine if I can use this on my 67 BB with the short waterpump. The catalogs I have show different fan assemblys for short and long pumps. Whats the difference? What do I look for when determing if it will work?

the length of the clutch is different (distance from wp to fan). My stock clutch setup (67 396 w A/C) measures 1 1/8" from wp mounting surface to fan mounting surface, fan is 18".
Nice looking car! Is that 950 a little much for that 396/325?

Yea, the 950 3 barrel is a bit big. Going to change it soon, It's only been on the car for about 35 years and it's about time.
