I am just about done preping my car. I will be spraying fresh paint on next week. I can't wait. After wet sanding the final primer coat, the body is so smooth with great lines. I had new quarters put on, and the rest is rust free and very strait (now).

I will be going with silver paint with grey stripes. I am lifting the color from the ebay "fastforward fastback". Beautiful combination. I actually spoke with the guy who sprayed the car for "Rad Rides by Troy", and he gave me the color codes.

This will be my second paint job. My first was on my 99 chevy truck and turned out great. I would not be able to do this myself if not for this forum.

New paint today for my 68. Just did Porshe red and we plan on putting the stripes on tomarrow morning and then the clear coat. The strip kit says 3 hours to dry. Do you think the clear can go on after those 3 hours? It's kind of a sticky situation with the color coat only having a 24 hour window for the clear coat. Any thoughts?

lotta people going with that Porche red,popular color.I have a red interior and need to come up with a color,either that or clear coat my DP primer :D

New paint here too, gonna squirt some Sunset Orange (seen on many of the new GM cars) onto my 69. Unfortunately I won't get to see it as I will be on my way back to school 1000 miles away before it's done. Will have to wait until Cruisin the Coast to see it.
