Just primered my NEW 400 and some dollor gas tank for my 66. I am going to paint it black. What kind of black should I go? Gloss, semi???? Also what should I use as far as sand paper to scuff the primered surface? Thanks a lot!!!

I painted mine with Duplicolor Medium Charcoal Metallic. Looks just like a new zinc coated tank.

Why do you want to paint it? They are tin coated I believe, we usually clear them to keep the clean look. $400 cdn. sounds better. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
