: 12 Bolt Pinion Yoke Question CDN SS May 17th, 06, 12:11 PM I just changed my stock 12 bolt pinion yoke to a billet one for 1350 u-joints ....... the stock yoke has a collar that covers the seal ....... the new yoke does not and when I removed the dust shield / collar it does not fit tight around the new yoke ............ so I left it off .......Any problem with that .......... other than seal more open to the road dirt etc ...... Good, Thanks big gear head May 17th, 06, 6:12 PM Most cars that use the 1350 yoke are not going to see much road debris, so the manufacturers don't include the shield. It shouldn't be a problem. | ||
