Does anyone have any suggestions on any rust remover that really works short of blasting. In the process of removing surface rust from frame and under body. Have tried Naval Gel, really dosen't do much. Presently wire wheeling. Any suggestions /advise would be appreciated.

The 3M rust removal wheels mounted on a drill work pretty well. Available at most hardware stores.

this stuff kick a$$ - it etches the metal and not only gets rid of the rust - but pimes the surface so it will not rust again

Also re-usable. If you pour a little out into a container, use a bruch to apply it, you can strain whats left through some cheese cloth and re-use it again and again and again. They say you can spray it on but I wasted a bunch that way. Then started using the container / strain method and this stuff gos a long way. Let dry, then wipe with wet cloth to neutralize before you paint.

Its good stuff.
