A friend of mine is trying to organize a car show/cruise and I told him I would help. It will be on a friday night, the cars will be in place for a couple of hours for show and then a short cruise around town and then back by the crowd for a burnout or a little bit of showing off. We will be giving a trophy for the best vehicle in each class. We are going to have valve cover races, we have a band we can get and we have a couple of more ideas but dont really know what else to do for entertainment. Does anybody have suggestions for what we should change or add or any neat events you have seen at car shows. Thanks

50/50 is always great! And yes, you will need to check on permits and such.
Need to think about advertising it also, there is a MO site for car shows. I will find it and stick it here in your post when I find it!
There are about 15 shows going on already for the summer.
