Hey guys,
Before I start prying I was wondering if anyone knows how easily the diverter flap comes out of the heater box ?? I have mine apart replacing the heater core, and the foam on the diverter door looks pretty bad. Figured now would be the time to take care of it. Looks like I might be able to remove the bracket that the cable goes to and then hopefully the shaft will come of of the door to allow its removal but .....

If anyone has done this, any advice is appreciated.
