I am ready to mount my sway bar to lower control arms, but my GM book does not give the torque specs for the bolts. Can anyone tell me the torque setting for the bolts that mount the sway bar?

Just snug, you should just start to start seeing the bushings squish when they are right. There is no torque spec as that would require complete bushing squish.

Looking in my 65 assembly manual, it shows 60-120 inch-pounds of torque for the end link nuts....and says you accomplish this by running the nut to the "unthreaded" part of the link....(that's around 5-10 ft.lbs if I did the math right...and it shows 10-15 ft-lbs for the bolts that hold the sway bar to the frame.....let me know if ya have any other ????..

I am refering to the rear sway bar that attaches to the rear boxed lower control arms.
