So I just want to verify my next step. I've almost got the passenger side all roughed in, and had a couple of questions.
1) Where I've done filler work, I've exposed metal around the filler, do I reshoot this with DP? What I'm trying to say is, do I get the whole surface back to DP over filler, then k38, and start blocking? Previously I was taught to primer over the filler, and start blocking, without ever using an epoxy coat. But was wondering if having the DP over the filler, under the k38, will have an adverse affect when I start to block, and hit some highs or lows? Because I read that the DP is nonsandable.
2) Since half my car is 1-2 year old DP or e-coat, and been sitting in the shop, I've scuffed the whole car with 100. Got rid of all the dirt, goobers, and whatever. When I'm done with the rough-in, should I re-coat the whole car in DP, then a high build primer, or just go to a high build primer?
Sorry for all the questions, but with all your help, it's really starting to look like I just might pull this off.:D
