I've purchased a B & M (#20248) recalibration kit, for my 700r4. Would like a 5000 auto shift point. Currently 1000 rpm's short. I know it's a "trial and error" proceedure, .. but I'd like to get it right on the first try, if possible. Any suggestions concerning which weights,( #1,2,3,4,5, or 6) and springs to use (heavy< Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red > light) .... to save some "hit and miss" time? Otherwise, my approach is to ... weigh (digital scale) the current weights, and change one to the next step lighter, for starters, and proceed from there. Thanks!

I have a notebook somewhere with exactly what you are looking for, but IIRC a test-adjust-test cycle was only about 7 min for me when I was doing it. By the time I dig up my notes you'd have it figured out!

I'll have a look tonight.

Here are the specific weights and springs, from B&M's kit, ..... that gave me the desired 5200 WOT shift points, with this 700r4. Weights: #2 & #3. Springs: green & blue. Hope this can save experimentation time, for somebody.
