I was looking through the Summit catalog and came across a Hurst Universal shifter that kinda looks like a truck shifter, real tall with a bend in it. It looks pretty cool. Anyways, I have a TH350 on the column in a non-console 70 Bu and I kinda wanna drop that shifter in. It's all cables, so that shouldn't be a problem. It uses the stock neutral safety switch. It's nice and tall so I don't have to lean into it to get outa Park. Anyone ever use one like it? What did you think?

Last one I had like that looked like a 4 speed shifter even though it was an auto, and it had a single rod instead of a cable to actuate the trans shift lever. It was pretty flimsy and did not have the kind of solid feel that I wanted. It also wasnt a ratchet shifter, so was as useless as a column shift for banging off shifts.
