Hi Everyone!
I haven't posted here for a while, as I've been quite busy on the Camino lately. I didn’t expect to get this far on my project until May 2003, but once I started working on it, I couldn’t stop! There were times I was out in my garage at 3:00am. My neighbors probably think I’m crazy, but it doesn’t matter because the fruits of my labor are finally beginning to pay off. I still need to paint the hood, install the bed trim, tailgate, bumpers, and some other minor detailing, but hopefully I’ll have it done by next spring. I can’t wait! Here are some pictures. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1644923&a=13140662&p=55148689 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1644923&a=13140662&p=55148684 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1644923&a=13140662&p=55148686

Looking real good. 2003?? I guess you are a little ahead of schedule http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I believe that Astro Blue is the same code as Warwick Blue which was on the 69 Goat I had a few years back. It is a sweet color, especially at night.

Good luck with the final touches.

Ooohhh, aaahhh sure does look good http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

What do you mean that you only stayed up until 3:00 a.m. - you need to step up to an all nighter to prove your Chevelle/El Camino devotion!

The real question that remains is: what will you do in the garage for the next couple of years while you wait, finished El Camino ready, for your official unveiling in 2003?

Good luck, and enjoy your project as much as you can (drive it often once its complete), Thomas
