: CB2006 Photo Project again? What say ya'll ???
riskyvt May 10th, 06, 12:48 PM As the title suggests, would you like me to do another round of CB photos, posting them to a sticky thread after the event? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, for the last two Chevelle-abration events, I have taken pictures of TC'ers standing next to their rides, then added their name, car info and TC User Name at the bottom of each picture. After returning and editing the pix, I posted a thread including a link to the gallery. Al graciously made the thread sticky so it stayed at the top of the forum. Most have commented that it was a good way of putting a name to a face.
So, what do you think...I'm up for it if you are!
onabudget May 10th, 06, 1:00 PM I'm in, and thanks Gregg your pics are great. It really helps to start to put the faces and cars with the names.
Robinls5 May 10th, 06, 1:45 PM Sounds just super, GET- ER-DONE Bob ACES 2825
Sure, why not? It's great of you to spend the time and effort to do this every year Greg. We're all grateful. Just hope none of us damage your camera lense.:D
Daytona Jeff May 10th, 06, 3:13 PM Greg, I think it's great. I have looked thru everyone of pics from the last two years.
Only this year I am going to stand by Von's car and say my name is Dave 'pass the bacon" Palmer :D
Ark68SS May 10th, 06, 4:30 PM Happy to do it again Gregg, I'll try to suck my gut in this time!

BillsCamino May 10th, 06, 4:33 PM I've missed the last two...maybe we can cross paths this year??:clonk:
I've missed both years, too. I wander around too much I guess. What day have you done it in the past...or should I ask what day you plan to do it this year? ;) I'll try to make it a point to be around the elky. BTW, I know it's a big effort on your part, and do appreciate it. Good to put faces with names.
BillsCamino May 10th, 06, 6:34 PM Gregg...
Seems like you'll always miss a few of us with everything that's going on in the park.
Maybe we could generate a list here...kind of a pre-register thing.
69SSRat May 10th, 06, 7:10 PM Ops!

We will try to keep an eye on you this year to make sure you are where you need to be,instead of roaming unsupervised.

I don't know what we'll be looking at this year. Last year it was hood hinge spacing, hood height when opened, license plate brackets, and something else that I've forgotten. :clonk: I'm making my list now of things to look at, but I'll try to keep it short.

Ditto!
riskyvt May 11th, 06, 8:04 AM OK, here's how it's worked in the past 2 years: I make it a point to arrive in TN late Wednesday afternoon, so I am on the field for all three days. On Thursday AM, once I'm parked and my bark-a-lounger is set up under the nearest tree, I start scanning for TC stickers in windows. There's no real time or day for the picture taking, just dumb luck as to whether or not you guys are at your cars and I happen to wander by. The "pre-register" thing is a good idea to gauge interest, but we still need to "hook up" on the field.
I think the best approach would be to keep an eye out for me, and probably have "the Mouth of the South" make several announcements on the PA reminding you to look for me. Last year I snapped 28 pictures of TC'ers, this year I'd like to double that. With your help, it can happen. Keep an eye out for me. It's not like I can hide from you.... :)
Donnie1 May 11th, 06, 11:28 AM Gregg,
sounds good to me if i bring my car.
if not you can snap a pic of the tranny.
Donnie

riskyvt Jun 7th, 06, 9:16 PM I'm HERE !!!!!
Gonna get a good night's sleep, then hit the field to snap your photo. Weather looks like it's going to be great, and I'm looking forward to meeting old & new friends.
BlueSS454 Jun 8th, 06, 1:33 AM Gregg, I saw ya driving the 72 around the Red ROof parking lot when we were going out for some grub earlier. I'm up on the second floor. My 70 is over at the park, but my truck is right outside. I'm going in the AM to get the car and head over to Cooter's Place for a bit, then I'll be back. I need to see a General Lee so I can finish mine up!
