Hello guys,
I am going to be using 15x10 Prostars out back and I would like to run polyglass tires all the way around. It seems like 14 inch tall polyglass tires are all that is around.
Are there huge disadvantages to using 14's up front and 15's out back?

The first thing that comes to mind is you can't 14's with disc brakes. You need at least 15 to clear the calipers.

The 14's will clear the discs, depending on the specific wheel. I have a old pair of slotted mags that I was trying to sell & mounted them on my 69 to make sure they would clear the discs. It's close but good. Chevelles came with 14's. What kind of wheel are you going to use on the front? I have 15" Prostars on mine. Tires are big & little, car is lowered, looks good.

Just like the 15's - also running low on choices depending on what sizes you go with. I have the above tires on my chevelle (swapping to 15's this weekend).

Hey thanks guys,

I have a 70 Monte and the reason I wanted to use 14 inch rims is because I wanted polyglass all the way around. Around here I can't seem to find any 15 inch 'glass tires.

Here's a pic of my '69 with original 14's up front with my disc brakes and 15" wheels in back.

I see nothing wrong with a 14/15 combo...old school actually. That's was the way we did it back in the days... ...to get that rake.
