What is the advantage of using a solid mount on the driver's side and a rubber or poly mount on the passenger's side? Is this worth doing in a street car?

I would like to know too.
I "heard" that it can prevent clutch linkage bind under torque. But I have no experience with this, as I have never driven a chevelle before. I bought it at 17 and have been building it ever since.
