Does any one know if there is a diffrence between the 1967 and 1969 cast iron exhaust headers for a 396 motor in a chevelle. also has anyone deal with "classic exhaust" of Cleveland, Ga. for a system on a '67 396

Same manifold just with differnt casting numbers on the one side. All Chevelle, Nova, Camaro, etc.. EXCEPT full size and truck use the same type BB manifolds through the years.

I've used Classic Exhaust because they are not to far from me. Of the 3 systems I bought from them, I had to take something from 2 of them back to get it replaced for it to fit properly. I also noticed their old pipe bending machines scratched the pipes pretty bad. If you're anywhere nearby, I recommend Kent's Muffler in Cleveland, Ga. He does excellent custom exhaust work. There are several cars in Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN with his exhaust on them. Kent does little things just as standard procedure like putting the seam on the top side of the pipe, so you won't see that from under the car.
