Just bought a hood that was suspose to be a goodmark piece,"made in Taiwan" on the box,and looks like someone stuck a goodmark sticker,on the box!If it was a goodmark wouldn't it be printed on the box(a goodmark box)?
I paid $299.for a cowl hood.

all the stuff ive seen from goodmark was in an actual goodmark box, i think you got ripped.

I'm going to call Goodmark tomarrow and ask about this.I got it from Pro Car Specialties Berea Oh.It does fit real good though.

just because it was ordered and delivered from goodmark does not mean they made it in the USA. I ordered quarter panels for my 65 from goodmark, and when they arrived they have a made in taiwan sticker attached. I presume they don't have all the stamps yet to make everything in USA.

I have seen a lot of crap from Taiwan, but I have also seen a lot of sorry-looking stuff made here in the US. If it fits and looks good, why worry about where it came from? Getting a part your'e happy with for your Chevelle is like winning the lottery anyway :D

i just got a filler panel for my 67. cam in a goodmark box, made in taiwan sticker on the piece. the fit, so/so, far better than what i had.

I bought a Goodmark hood that came the same way as you said.some Goodmark stuff is made in Taiwan. My hood was in a box that that said mare in Taiwan and only had a little Goodmark label on it.The new stuff comes in goodmark boxes.I think you got an old box.My hood fits perfect .

Guys, I live in Atlanta and know someone who works at Goodmark. Virtually everything in sheet metal does come from off shore - mostly Taiwan.

Most of it is sort of "ok" quality though, especially if it is the only source.

I need quarters for a 65 Elky.
