anyone ever heard of these? the th-400 in my chevelle has a reduction or underdrive gear set in it. i have 3.07 gears (verified by counting teeth) ,yet turns high RPM's at low speed similar to the 4.11's in my camaro. i don't have a tach hooked up but i'd guess 3200@ 60-65 MPH. a couple of people told me that "back in the day" these gear kits were popular with racers. anyway i like the final drive ratio,and want to know what i'm dealing with so i can duplicate it by changing my ring and pinion set when i put in my new M-21. that tall 1'st gear won't be much fun with the 3.07's...
