on the two heater core connections that come through the fire wall witch one goes where?does the top one go to the intake and the bottem to the water pump? or is it the other way around.it is on a 350 small block.

top hose goes to the water pump. But i really doubt it matters. Just as long as it circulates through the core.

The two hoses are different diameters. Make sure that the supply to the core is the smaller one and the return is the larger one.

The hoses are the same size on my 65. I put the supply on the bottom, figuring that it would minimize the air trapped in the core. Perhaps the assembly manual shows this. --- Carl
