I used 3M heavy drip rail caulk stuff (dont remeber name exactly). Worked great. Picked it up at the local auto part store for cheap.

Thanks, I went to the auto supply store and a women there recomended this stuff called Tiger Seal. Anyone ever use it?
Also I'm wondering if I need to wait to chaulk the drip rails after or before primer?
thanks again

I went to ACE hardware and picked up some paintable caulk in a tube when I sealed the sons' 66 Nova drip rail. Cleaned up the drip rail with a wire wheel, put it on liberally with a caulking gun then used my finger to smoothe it out. Primed and painted right over it after it dried. Almost 2 years later still looking good...

When you go to apply your sealer, masking tape the top of the drip rail and also on the roof where you want the caulk to stop. Put you caulk in, wet your finger and smooth it and then pull the tape and walk away till it's dry.
