Anyone used this stuff? How's it compare to POR 15? I like everything that I've ever gotten from Eastwood, so I thought that I'd give some a try on my El Camino frame.

I've used it. It is a little more user friendly than por-15, but the stuff I got was a red-oxide color. I used it on the Bronco I finished not too long ago.

I had it in one of my cars for 10 years w/no reoccuring rust!!!

As satate B-4 . it's more user freindley.
and can be thinend to spray. I use it inside door/ 1/4 pannels .takes and over coat easy

I used it on my frame and it sprays good with some thinning. Can't do a longevity test for ya its only been painted a couple of months.
Much easier to work with than p15. Forget brushing with sponge brushes it eats them up. just spray it on.

Corroless is a "Rust Convertor." This means you cannot use POR-15 as they do not recommend applying over "rust convertors"

Not arguing with you at all about using POR 15 over a converter as I always thought it was supposed to be applied directly over cleaned rusty areas. But, I am baffled by the emergence of POR Metal Ready. Isn't it a converter??? They say "Don't use it" then they make it available? What's up?
