sean mullens Dec 23rd, 99, 6:30 PM With the throttle to the floor my 71 seems to lack power.However with slightly less throttle it suddenly seems to pick up much more power. Is this an indication of an overly rich condition? I dont notice alot of black smoke coming out.This is a Carter AFB and I dont remember the exact jet size in the secondaries but normal driving seems fine.any ideas?(600 cfm) ------------------ 71 malibu 350/350 Bryan Dec 23rd, 99, 10:30 PM Can't help with the Carter, but- have you done a plug check? You'll need to kill the engine while symtoms are occuring(WOT, under load) and coast to a stop w-out turning it over or cracking the throttle.
