Wow! That was a pretty cool site!
Feel free to correct me, but after looking at those combo's and looking at the parts that I've got starting to build up on my garage shelves... I'm thinking I should be in the 360-380hp range when I'm done.

350+.030 flat tops, 284/480 single profile flat tappet hydr., GM 2.02/1.60 64cc heads, Crane Energizer 1.5 full rollers,Single plane Torker, Holley 750 dbl pumper, 1 5/8 headers, 2 1/2" duals w/ Magnaflows.

I know the 750 is a bit much, but it has annular boosters and I figure it can be tweaked a bit, besides, It's on the shelf already!

Do you guys think I'm in the ballpark?

Lastly, I've never run a high stall converter. I was going to go with a 3000 but the local tranny guy says to keep it around a 2200-2400 max.

I'm new to the site and like what I've been reading so far. I'm hoping that you guys will allow a Chev in Buicks clothing (I'm debadging and removing the Buick side chrome before paint). If it helps... my first car was a '68 Chevelle and I've also had a '67 ElCamino along the way. :-)
