I bought this project started, and the fenders that came with the car (in the car with many other parts)don't bolt to the rad support I thought the rad support was wrong and ordered a new one still no luck, the fenders bolts go in from the inside of the rad support, but the mounting nuts on the support look like it's set up to go in straight from the front??? Do I Have 69 fenders? car is

OK, using the driver's side as a reference. With the fender hanging on the car and standing over the front of it,(with you facing the windshield) there should be an "ear" with two bolt holes protruding from the engine side of the fender, near the front edge. This "ear" is stamped in the same shape as the top of the radiator support. Two bolts go through this ear into the radiator support. Now, looking "head on" into the front of the fender where the headlight should be, there is a "bolt on" 90 degree bracket that bolts between the front edge, to your right, of the fender to the radiator support. Again, this little bracket is stamped into the shape of the front of the radiator support. Also, if these are 70 fenders, the front of the fender is flat, where the headlight bucket (or headlight extension) bolts up. 69 and 70 fenders look completely different. Look at the front pictures of my car in my signature.
