Hello all,
a friend recently built a TH350 to replace his PG and everything went well except he now has a delay in the 1-2 shift. used red alto clutches, removed the waves and machined to add another fiber. installed a JW full manual regular pattern valve body and put it in the car. everything works well but the 1-2 shift has a 1 to 1.5 second delay. Called JW and they said it is because the stock sprag--- mine shifted great until i killed the sprag and then went to aftermarket.. My question is can anyone dummy down a delay in the shift problem for me to start looking for the issue. I just dont know why mine shifted and his has this delay unless he did something wrong in the build. Maybe i am Waaaaaay wrong and it is the sprag... his PG was built by him and was running in the mid tens for 3 years but his car was too heavy and he was trying to see what the three speed would do....
