Anyone heard of a distributor number 1111500? The guy I spoke to said it had a stamp date of 8 J 27 which would make it for a 69. I have never heard of this model.

I don't see that number in any of my reference books. ? Might it be a truck application?

In the 73 and 83 parts books I have it is listed for :
64-67 All (283)
67 Pass (327)
68 Chevelle, Chevy II (283,327) (exec H/per, Sp H/per)
68 Pass (327 w/reg fuel)

Not a typo. There is a difference between the "distributor number" and Chevrolet "replacement part number". What you were told was the part number. I should have followed up on that knowing people often confuse the two. It's rare that any cast or stamped number on a given part is the Chevrolet part number.
