New OPG front floor brace doesn't want to fit tight against the floor at the "hump". Suggestions? Take it out and tweak it? Heat it up? What your experiences?

how's it fit width wise? ( to the inner rocker ).. if it's tight there.. I drill and secure with a few screws both sides.... then use a floor jack to PUSH up starting from one side and working to the middle.. a Big hammer and a block of wood help it conform it to the floor also..drilling and using sheet metal screws as I go Pre drilled over size holes in the brace help PULL to down to the floor also..
the screws sticking up through the floor help to outline the brace somting a few on the floor to pre drill plug weld holes from the inside when you have it totally flush .

It fits good everywhere but up in the top of the transmisson hump. Its probably 3/8" off from touching there. It touches as it goes into the hump and up the sides, but not in the top radius.
