can you put a '69 grill on a '68 chevelle? just wondering they look almost identical

You probably could, but they don't look all that similar, 68's are almost all shiney chrome while 69's are black or grey with a light grey stripe through the middle, also the badges are different. Also I think all 68's had chrome headlight bezels and 69's had blacked out bezels.

68 has a aluminum grill the 69 are plastic. you may be able to switch but you would need the brackets the grill screws to.

The 68 SS grills are black not silver. The brackets are different also. But the big question I have (and maybe it's just my way of thinking) why would you want to put a 69 grill in a 68? The 68 grill is one of the things that make the car unique.
