I have a 67 Malibu that I have decided the course of action with. It will now get the complete drive line from a 99 Z28. The LS1, the 6 speed and the rear diff. I have seen articals on the change. And like the Idea. Unfortunately I never thought to save them. Now I am presented with the challenge and am looking for any advice on problems and hang ups that anyone else has run into while doing such a driveline makeover with there chevelle. Any advice and direction to get info on this would be fantastic. Your all welcome to be a part of this build!!!!

There have been many LS1 swaps done on chevelles and a even a few on this site. As a matter of fact I am building an LS1 for my 67 Chevelle as we speak. The best advice I can give you for getting started is to check out www.ls1tech.com in the conversions and hybrids section. Do a search on Chevelles and you will find a wealth of information on people who have done Chevelle LS1 swaps. Good luck with your swap!

Sounds like a cool project!
I wouldn't try to swap the diff in, though. Those F-body 10-bolts are notoriously weak. However, I believe you can swap the brakes from it onto your Chevelle rear end - not sure about the 67 on that one as you may have shock clearance problems. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that.
The LS1Tech forum is a very good one. I'd also recommend that you give Street and Performance a call, as they probably have just about everything you'll need to get it done.

I agree. The 4th Gen 10bolt is a 7.5" ring, a stock A body 10 bolt is stronger.
The brakes section here has info on the LS1 brake swap front and rear.
http://www.brphotrods.com/ and http://www.t56kit.com/movie.html also offer swap components. I have been researching harnesses for a swap and http://www.speartech.com/ has been the overwhelming favorite.
