ssdavetodd Aug 10th, 00, 9:08 PM Someone told me that a two-tone paint scheme was available as an option on 68 chevelles. Is this true? They said it would be black below the lower side moldings. I saw a car with this setup and thought it looked cool but I don't want to have mine done this way if its some custom thing. The 68 paint scheme you are referring was available. My cais painted that way and my L78 future project which is original paint from the doors back is painted the same way. I read somewhere that that was Chevys way of making a Super Sport identifiable from the side since there was no SS emblems or Super Sport script on the side of the car.
