It's time to do the frame for my 70 SS, but after reading past post I am still wondering what is the better way to go powder coating or the Por-15 route? I am looking for the toughest finish as I will drive this car almost daily.Money is not the main concern here, looks and longevity
thanks for any replys http://www.chevelles.com/forum/confused.gif

Powder coating wins this contest. The most important thing in either application is the preparation. Get it clean. really clean.
If you buy a portable powder coat system, you'll find youself using it for many many parts.

If money is not the concern.Have it professionally sandblasted and powdercoated. You'll spend weeks trying to do it at home, and for powdercoating the frame has to be clean BARE metal.
