I have an original 66 BB PS Reserivor Cap. Not the Repo ones being sold or a 67 or a 68. I has a dent in the top of the domed area between the edge and the 2 indented circular areas in the center. Looks like the bottom part that locks into the reserivor (Stamped F on one side and E on the other) is spot welded or sodered in 4 spots though the cork gasket and brass retainer. The cork gasket and brass retainer rotate freely so they are just sandwiched between the top and the bottom that locks into the reserivor.

Has anyone taken one of these apart and repaired it or know of anyone who repairs these caps? Don't think you can work out the dent without messing up the cork gasket & brass retainer. Doesn't really look to bad now; but its painted black and should be gray. Thanks,
