Wasn't sure whether to post here or in Transmission and Driveline.....
Took my 65 for a road cruise to Jackpot Nevada this weekend with two friends along. New shocks, springs, bushings, sway bars etc.
Well, all of the sudden when I hit a bump, the drivleine is bumping and rubbung the tranny tunnel of the car. This occured at any speed and almost any size bump in the road, as well as curbs.
I just installed a 700r4, could it be because of a slightly different driveline angle, or is it something with the suspension?
It seems to be rubbing about 6-8" down from where the front yokes meet the tranny. The area is about 1/2" wide.
Again it only happened with three of us in the car, and we all weigh about 200 lbs.
