ive had the front clip off of my 67, sandblasted and cleaned and repainted everthing. mounted the front bummper supports to the bumper and putt it in place and now theres a 2" gap betwen the front bumper and the valance in the middle. the gap gets closer to the valance the further to the ends of the bumper and is about right at the head lights. what have i done wrong? mind you my bumper "isnt" gun barrel straight but it wasent like this when i took it apart. thanks Dave

The bumper must be bent. Did the brackets just slide into place on the frame or did you have to pull and pry. You want to get real scared? Why don't you mount it up and pull up to your favorite tree and push it back in. Your results may vary.

nope. brackets just slide right in. no tight fit, no loose fit.
