: convertible top frame adjustment?

My '71 convertible top seems like it does not quite fit. The front of the top that attaches to the windshield seems to be about 3/8" back. Makes it hard to latch. I have to pull it down and push it forward. Once it's latched, it looks great.

Can the top frame be adjusted? I would like to slide it forward 3/8". How would this be done? I think there is enough slack in the fabric to allow this.

Thanks

The front bow of the convertible frame is adjustable. There are two screws on each side of the bow. Just loosen them and pull the bow forward.

My suggestion is to buy an assembly manual - the info in there makes it easy to adjust the top, IMO.
