Hello, was curious to see how fellow Chevelle Fanatic's would rate the three deadliest colors IMHO for 66/67 models only that are hardtops. THe colors are


#1 MARINA BLUE



#2 TUXEDO BLACK



#3 BOLERO RED


Thank you for participating as I've alway's loved these colors on 66's also liked that rare turquise color......thanks for voting.....maybe next month we'll cover droptops same color's and years..........PLEASE be honest pretend it's Jan 2nd 1967 and you're at a GM dealership and there some 66's on the lot ...wish I was born then to have seen it..to be honest I'd go Marina Blue with black vinyl roof..

I had a 66 tropical turquoise several years ago. I like the other colors but I think I'll stick with the turquoise.

I have to go with 66s Artesian Turquoise. It's what color my 66 was originally. And we have one Turquoise 66 in our club. I fell in love with the color the first time I saw it.

66 aztec bronze !!!!

Even if there were more choices I wouldn't have voted as I'm a Pontiac guy, and they did things a little differently. A perfect example? 69 GTO wouldn't look right with 69 SS stripes...

FWIW, I happen to like my 66/67s in white with a black vinyl roof.

Marina Blue is one of my favorites, even back in the day when I was a little kid. On a hardtop it looks great with a black vinyl top (potential problems notwithstanding.)

I vote for Tuxedo Black. Would look awesome with Red interior....least I hope so being that's what my 66 is going into the paint shop soon to become!!

I like Black, but the red looks good with a black vynal top.:thumbsup:

IMO, Marina Blue...

But I originally painted my convertible Artesian Turquoise (originally Aztec Bronze)... At the time I didn't like Bronze, but now its not too bad (after seeing some nice Bronze Chevelles)...

My first Chevelle was lemonwood yellow, so I like that too... Then theres Chateau Slate...

Aztec Bronze. Just so rare. but come to think about it??????? OK black.

66'...Marina Blue #2... but the Aztec Bronze is (IMO) the sweetest factory color.
Aztec interior too... I like black interior but, it is nasty in the summer on bare skin ;-)

Any color you want........... as long as it is BLACK!!!!!!:D

I've grown fond of Butternut Yellow for obvious reasons, but if I were on the lot in '67, I would have wanted a white droptop with red stripes and red interior. That is a jaw dropping combo IMHO.
