were do you guys put your msd boxes? i was thinking about putting mine in the car behind the deteriorated glove box. how weather proof are they under the hood? thanks dudes!!

I have seen most mounted in the engine bay, on the firewall. If you care to conceal it, underdash will work fine.

I had one under the hood on the firewall for over 12 years on previous Chevelle with no problems concerning weather. This car had no garage or cover and continued to spark exceptionally.

Mine's on the opposite side...in the front, on the flat section of driverside inner fender, behind the headlights.
Easier to wire from here, too...about halfway between battery and distributor.

I've got mine mounted inside the car on the firewall behind the glovebox. Probably the same place your are talking about. I had it mounted in my other car on the drivers side fender well.
