I don't know for what reason, but my Computer has really slowed down a lot over the past few days. Each time I try and log onto any website, the connection takes a very long time and everything runs really slow. I tried running both Norton Antivirus and HitMan Pro, but this had no effect at all.


What can I do to solve this problem. :(

Try running an antispyware program. Norton AV 2006 comes with it, Microsoft's is free.

I removed HitmanPro, did a reboot, then reloaded it and this thing runs a lot faster now. I have absolutely no idea what could have caused this, but this thing runs a lot better now!

is the computer slow if you don't use the Internet or log into websites

i mean is it slow if you just booted it up and were using something like Microsoft word or playing the games and not using the Internet
