For under coating, break out the propane torch and puddy scraper. Get ready for burned fingers and a smell so rancid you'll wish you never started.

Heat gun and putty knife. Peals off like butter. Plus it's much safer.

Another site had some kind of oven cleaner that worked well. I'll look for it.

Please take many of these suggestions with SAFETY in mind first.... inhaling some of the fumes from these methods is dangerous... so whatever you do, please use proper masking and ventilation when undertaking jobs like this.

Good luck

For some ideas, go to www.eastwoodco.com (http://www.eastwoodco.com) and enter the word "undercoating" in the search bar. Look on the second page of the results. The stripper you are asking about is there for $10 bucks a can. (expensive) That wire brush that is shown can be purchased at any good hardware store. It'll generally tear thru anything. They actually come in several configurations (for a drill or to mounton a grinder) and sizes. I've use a large one on a small angle grinder and hardly anything can stand up to it. Also, it genreally won't load up.

Good luck!
